Fencing Club wins 2018 National Championship

In early April, Dartmouth Fencing traveled to Knoxville, TN for the USA Club Fencing Nationals. We are proud to announce that DCFC took home the Six Weapon Combined Championship Title, for the first time since 2014. Twenty-four Dartmouth fencers and Coach Brookes '14 took the venue by storm, fencing for a total of 23 hours over two days. 
 
Each squad had an excellent showing, including a 1st place finish in Women's Saber, a 1st place finish in Men's Epee, and a 2nd place finish in Women's Foil. In individuals, Cindy Shen '21 took gold in women's foil, and Kaleigh Mentzer '18 took gold in women's saber for the fourth consecutive year. The men's team placed third in for 3-Weapon Team, and the Women's team took gold in 3-Weapon Team for the fourth year in a row.
